Short trips, long weekends or family holidays we'll give your sausage a holiday too.
Each dog that stays with us is assigned a safe space where we will keep all their items you have brought for them such as beds and toys etc.
As a small independent dachshund specific boarder and daycare provider we only take a limited number of dogs at any time.
We feed all dogs separately to keep pilfering to a minimum, and are happy to continue your dogs routine; we just ask that you provide clear instructions.
Our enclosed garden was specifically dog proofed to accommodate the arrival of Rolo and as such is probably safer than Fort Knox!
Due to our proximity to the countryside we do have a plethora of local squirrels which our Daxie guests take great delight in barking at while looking really proud for warning them off throughout the day.
We have toys and balls to play with outside and during the summer a doggy pool is available for hot dogs to cool down in.
Along with being very secure, the garden area has security lighting and a smart video camera, this is obviously just a backup as no dog is left alone at anytime during their stay unless otherwise stated.
The sausages will always receive a minimum of 2 x 30 min walks a day or a longer walk at one of our areas spectacular locations such as a local forest or one of the fabulous beaches on the NE Wales coast.
All dogs are walked on lead (long leads where applicable) and when available we utilise a local dog field for off lead fun.
The local Dachshund scene in Cheshire is thriving and we love to attend local breed meet-ups. A lot of photos from these breed meet-ups are posted on social media and as such we will always ask your consent to take them with us as managing other peoples uploads isn’t really practical once out on a walk.
Rolo loves meeting sausages of all shapes and sizes and it has certainly helped him learn how to socialise with both male and female daxies.
